Raised on a small farm in rural Wisconsin, the young Jason Love took an interest in the unusual early in his life. While still a toddler, this young Magician unknowingly attempted his first sideshow stunt by inserting an entire shoestring into his small nose. From there, this Madman’s infatuation with the unusual was formed.
By his middle school years, this deranged demonstrator of the bizarre was notorious for his unusual abilities and off the wall stunts. This attention soon came to an end following a conference with Jason’s counselor. His peers loved it, his teacher hated it, and his parents were pissed!!!
Several years later, performing on the streets of New Orleans, this misunderstood artist appeared before crowds in the midst of Jackson Square. Lying on a bed of nails with a hammer in hand and a nail in his nose, Jason realized his calling and the Madman of Magic was born.
Returning to Wisconsin, Jason worked to expand his knowledge and abilities of circus skills, sideshow stunts, and magic. In 2001 he attended UW La Crosse Clown Camp, where he majored
in Comedy Magic and minored in Funny Business. The next summer, this rising star was recruited by Richard Cales’ Sideshow/Circus (one of the last American Freak shows). There he learned the difficulties of performing under a tent and living in the back of a Haunted House attraction.
Three months later Jason left the carnival life to finish up his Bachelors degree in Psychology at Northland College. His final thesis being on the psychology used by street performers……He got an A!
The day after walking down the auditorium aisle and collecting his college diploma, the Madman signed a contract with the Six Flags Corporation’s Chicago theme park, filling up his summer and fall schedule for the following two years.
Currently, Jason performs his one-of-a-kind show across the country! He Makes appearances at College Events, Theatre Shows, Corporate Activities, Night Clubs, and Private Parties. This madman is constantly working on new and exciting projects. Keep an eye out for what is to come!
